What the plant is like
Expect a tall, branchy plant. Dutch Passion says numerous side branches carry long, heavy flowers and that heights above 3 m are not unusual; Weedmaps advises ample room for side branches indoors and thorough trellising either way, and says the plant reaches its greatest potential outdoors.1,9
Sources differ on the buds. Leafly and AllBud describe round, chunky buds with a dense coat of trichomes, and Leafly’s landrace article says the flowers are round and fluffy rather than long and wispy like other narrow-leaf strains; the breeder description on SeedFinder describes large, long buds with lots of resin.2,5,10,11 Leafly says its oversized resin glands suit concentrate making.5
What to watch for
The original seeds carried an intersex trait: GreenState says Sam the Skunkman bred it out over many growing cycles and calls the trait common in landraces.12 Dutch Passion calls its seeds tough enough for outdoor growing even at extreme northern and southern latitudes, and GreenState says Ed Rosenthal expected the strain to do well in California’s Mediterranean climate.1,12
Seeds and the law in the US
Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.13 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.14 Home cultivation rules are set by each state. This site does not sell seeds.
